We are looking for a 3D Artist to join our team. In this role, you will create high-quality 3D game assets for Arcustin’s mobile games, turning concepts into polished, optimized, and visually engaging assets that support the look and feel of our products.

At Arcustin Games, we are building a mobile game studio that uses AI to reduce friction from idea to scale. Octopus, our proprietary AI studio engine, helps us create, test, market, and grow games with more speed, clarity, and precision. Responsibilities;

  • Create high-quality 3D assets for mobile games, including characters, environments, props, objects, and visual elements

  • Turn 2D concepts, sketches, references, and product ideas into polished 3D game assets

  • Deliver both high-poly and low-poly models optimized for mobile platforms

  • Create textures, UV maps, materials, shaders, and asset setups that support the visual direction of each game

  • Work on lighting, rendering, composition, and presentation to improve the overall visual quality of game assets

  • Import, set up, and test 3D assets in Unity or similar game engines

  • Optimize assets for mobile performance while maintaining strong visual quality

  • Collaborate closely with product, game design, engineering, marketing, and other artists to ensure consistent visual style and production quality

  • Iterate on assets based on feedback, testing results, performance needs, and product requirements

  • Support visual exploration for new game concepts, features, characters, environments, and marketing materials

  • Use AI tools where relevant to improve ideation, visual exploration, asset production, and iteration speed

  • Contribute to internal art workflows, asset libraries, production standards, and visual quality guidelines

  • Solve technical and aesthetic problems across modeling, topology, texturing, lighting, rendering, and game integration

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in 3D art, game art, asset production, or a similar visual production role

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and game-ready asset creation

  • Strong knowledge of 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, or similar software

  • Experience creating optimized 3D assets for mobile platforms

  • Good understanding of topology, UV mapping, texture maps, materials, lighting, rendering, and asset optimization

  • Experience with Unity or another game engine is a strong plus

  • Strong sense of form, color, composition, scale, stylization, and visual clarity

  • Ability to adapt to different visual styles while maintaining consistency across a game

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished assets within production timelines

  • Ability to work closely with product, engineering, design, marketing, and art teams

  • Interest in mobile games, visual trends, game aesthetics, and player-facing polish

  • Familiarity with AI tools for image generation, concept exploration, or 3D production is a plus

  • Good communication skills and ability to work through feedback

  • Good command of written and spoken English

  • Degree in Animation, Game Art, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is a plus
